This painting arose as a result of listening to Ravel's Miroirs. I was envisioning the turbulence and dissonance found in the third movement. I was interested in translating the rapid movement of the keys as they drip through the ocean.

This work is painted with professional acrylic paint on canvas. The painting is sealed with a UV protectant varnish to keep the colors vibrant for its lifetime.

This painting is gallery-wrapped (canvas around the sides) and not framed. The painting would look great as is or framed! The sides are painted black for a neat look once hung and the back is fitted with wire ready to be hung.
