Commissioned Painting

Have you ever wanted a truly unique artwork representing you and the music you find meaningful?

You can place a request for a custom painting through me!  If you have a favorite piece of music you want me to translate or not, I will work with you to create a beautiful painting you will be very happy with. 

General terms:

1. Pricing starts at $2/square inch with a canvas up to 1.5 inches deep. Wood panel adds another $0.50 per square inch.  Additional charges may be incurred based on materials and the number of changes requested by the client.

2. Agreed-upon pricing and deliverables will be provided upfront before starting the painting.

3. We will start with an initial conversation over Facetime, Zoom, or in person if you are in Pittsfield. Once we move forward, I will collect 50% of the estimated project cost as a deposit.  The balance will be due before shipping or picking up the work.

3.  For most projects, I will provide you with sketches, color swatches, and whatever is necessary for us to agree on your dream painting. Once we agree, I will work on the project and provide you with an estimated completion date. Commissions typically take 2-10 weeks, and this depends largely on coming to an agreement based on the sketches and any restrictions on sourcing materials. I also try hard to meet special deadlines, such as the holidays!   

4. As the buyer, you will pay for all shipping and handling fees. However, I offer Local Pickup from my Pittsfield, MA studio for free! Local Delivery to your front door in Berkshire County is $50.

5. If the painting doesn't meet expectations, the buyer will unfortunately forfeit the 1/3 deposit.
