Translation of "Daphnis et Chloe" (M. Ravel) VI - Original Painting on Canvas
This past summer (2019), I spent a lot of time attending BSO Tanglewood concerts. One of my favorites was the performance of Ravel's Daphnis et Chloe. I painted a series of paintings on this piece, attempting to capture Daphnis and Chloe's personalities, dreams, and tragic failures. I hope you can find Daphnis and Chloe in these paintings.
For all my paintings, I use professional-grade materials. The painting is sealed with a UV protectant, acrylic varnish to keep the colors vibrant for its lifetime.
This painting is not framed; it can be hung un-framed because of its thickness (1.5 inches) and because the sides are painted for a clean look. The back is wired, ready for hanging.
