Translation No. 2 of 'Sonata No. 1 for Cello and Piano in D Minor' (Claude Debussy)- Acrylic on canvas

This translation of Debussy's Sonata No. 1 follows the music closely in its rich, musical phrases. I was very blue when hearing this piece and I translated this and one other painting in blue. I will likely paint other parts of this piece later on in life as it is one that I tend to have on my playlist.

Painted with acrylic paint and art crayon on canvas, the abstract quality of this scene lends itself to the quiet parts of the song.
