Translation of "Our Home" in Armenian - Diptych Acrylic Mixed Media on Canvas

As a self-proclaimed translator, I find it easiest to think of my surroundings are places I need to correlate to another place I understand.  In this series, "Translations of Home," I focus on my experience moving 5 times in 20 months. Transience is not foreign to me, but I have found that being a mother and a wife has changed my perspectives on what "home" means to me. I find "home" plays a monumental role in the life balance I wish to create for my family and myself selfishly. These paintings record my experience through home translations.
